Though I knew this day was coming, I can't say I was prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that this week has been. Happiness, tears, bittersweetness, laughter, nostalgia and so much joy. I have watched you from afar as well as up close all week, leading up to this day and cannot say I have ever seen your eyes shine so brightly or your smile brighten a room as much as it does when you see Levi walking in.
My sweet spring flower, as every parent no doubt knows, to me you are still the little girl who pointed at the sky and asked me what constellation we were looking at, or the one who loved slipping into my ballet shoes and twirling for your father and I.
So it's incredibly hard to believe that you are not only grown up but about to embark on creating a whole family of your own. That you are getting married. There I go again, eyes filled with tears each time I say that word, tears of pure happiness as I now watch you in your wedding dress. To say you look beautiful is an understatement but what's more my precious my flower is that I know how beautiful you are from the inside out.
Now as you fly out on a new chapter, I wish nothing short of complete bliss for you and Levi as love guides your paths and a lifetime of happiness as sweet married lovers.
