Art Gallery with a Difference
When Layne had said that they were going to an art exhibition, Nate wasn't exactly thrilled. Sure, he made music, he was an artist himself, but art that hung on walls? He wasn't a huge fan.
Still, she seemed so excited and eager to go, that he couldn't refuse.
And indeed, she was in her element as she chatted to the others in attendance, whilst he gravitated more towards the live music.
The art wasn't too bad either. A series of photos taken and displayed in places of honour, each one depicting a story that would lead to the surprise nature of the whole entire evening, and its purpose.
The proposal was beautiful, and Nate was glad he'd come now. After congratulating the happy couple, he went back to admiring the art again.
Well... one piece in particular, at least.
