Maggie truly recognized herself in Ella. The way she looked at Hercules, while his own eyes were away, told more than any word could ever tell. Whenever Ella caught her mother already gazing at the couple across the bonfire, Maggie gifted the girl an assuring nod.
She was young, she was beautiful. Still with her whole life awaiting ahead of her, Maggie couldn't stop peeking at them as they reminded her and Noah once. That amoured gaze too busy locked on the man figure, was only a sign that no one else existed around them.
“You are happy with her choice, aren't you?” Archie's sudden whispering voice brought the woman back into reality. “The guy looks a bit nervous, though. Yet, it's obvious he loves Ella. Pay attention to how entangled their fingers in each other's palms are.” the man added.
