A Glimpse into Loneliness
Winter nights feel endless, the cold seeping into my bones and the silence amplifying my solitude. Loneliness sits with me like an uninvited guest, its presence heavy and constant. The darkness outside mirrors the shadows in my mind, making it hard to see beyond the gloom.
Depression thrives in this season, feeding on the shorter days and longer nights. I often find myself lost in pessimistic thoughts, wondering if the warmth of spring will ever come. The world feels distant, as if everyone else is wrapped in warmth while I’m left in the cold.
But I remind myself that seasons change. The nights won’t always be this long, and the cold won’t last forever. For now, I hold onto that small hope, waiting for the dawn to break.
