Habían sido días intensos, llenos de decisiones, planes y prioridades que replantear. Días de confirmar, una vez más, que su pequeña tropa de monitos estaba por encima de todo: su familia. Gael quería empezar a entrenar y, por supuesto, Kai y Beryl le apoyarían en todo lo que hiciese falta. ¡Cualquier cosa por hacer a sus hijos felices! Y si había que hacer sacrificios extras, volar a las tantas de la noche, o tener que dividirse, se haría.
En medio de esa vorágine, Beryl se sentía profundamente agradecida de haber elegido a Kai, a su Kai, como compañero de vida. Él era su ancla, la persona quien le regalaba calma cuando todo parecía desbordarse, quien la devolvía a la tierra con solo mirarla. Podía confiar en él sin reservas, porque se conocían a fondo y, sobre todo, porque caminaban juntos en la misma dirección, con el mismo propósito.
Empezaba una nueva etapa, pero Beryl sabía que todo iría bien.
They had been intense days, filled with decisions, plans, and priorities to reconsider. Days of confirming, once again, that their little troop of monkeys came above everything else: their family. Gael wanted to start training and, of course, Kai and Beryl would support him in everything. Anything to make their children happy! And if it meant making extra sacrifices, flying in the middle of the night, or having to be apart for a few days, then so be it.
In the midst of that whirlwind, Beryl felt profoundly grateful for having chosen Kai, her Kai, as her life partner. He was her anchor, the one who brought her calm when everything seemed overwhelming, the one who could bring her back to earth with just a look. She could trust him completely, because they knew each other perfectly and, above all, because they walked the same path, with the same purpose.
A new chapter was beginning, but Beryl knew everything would be fine.
