Let me talk...
Everywhere I look it’s the same tired show. Too many dudes fold like a damn spoon the minute pressure hits, no spine, no pride, just bending so they don’t catch heat. And too many women act like they woke up thinking dignity was optional, walking around like they run the place while giving up everything real for a quick pose. That combo is fucking poison. No wonder most relationships rot before the second season.
I’m not talking about everyone. I’m talking about the scene... The choices people make when they chase clout instead of character. Back in the day men wore their best suits, stood tall, and carried their women like queens, respect wrapped around both of them. Now it feels like people care more about likes than loyalty, more about flexes than foundations.
A man without backbone is ain’t a man, it’s a shadow. He says he’s solid but melts under pressure, lets other people set the terms, lets values slide. And a woman who sells herself short for applause loses the one thing nobody can buy: self-respect. When both sides trade strength for show, what you get ain’t love! It’s an arrangement built on sand.
I’m old-school in the worst and the best ways. I want a partner who shows up not for Instagram, but in the quiet, in the ugly, when things break. I want someone who holds standards, not someone who ditches them for easy attention. That’s the blueprint of something real. The rest is just an entertainment.
So yeah, I’m disgusted. Not because people change... People always change, but because too many choose ease over courage. Choose to stand. Choose to carry. Choose not to shrink when the world asks for fight. That’s the difference between what’s flashy and what’s forever.
If you wanna be someone I respect: suit up, hold your line, and keep your woman closer than your phone. Respect gets you farther than flex ever will.
