Catch it while you can
I tried to slow down today, life has been so busy (not that i'm complaining) that I haven't found the time to write any music, which has always been cathartic to me. And sometimes you get this moment of inspiration, and it feels like you have to catch it right in that moment, before it slips away.
Sometimes it hits you at the most inconvenient or random time, whether it's an idea, a melody, a chorus, a verse or even just a single line that I think is kinda cool... and in the past I have tried to hold on to and idea and save it for later, but it's not always the same. So now, when the magic hits my brain, I can't help putting pen to paper and grabbing my guitar before it escapes me.
Oh, and my second single Treehouse will be out December 3rd, with a music video this time. Hope you like it.
