Who needs therapy when you have friends like this?
Mood: slightly hungover, deeply grateful, and wondering how hard it is to replace a pool table.
Last night was really something. One last hurrah for a bride-to-be and we did not disappoint. Champagne? Flowing. Dance moves? Questionable. Damage? Extensive (sorry again to the pool table, you didn’t deserve that).
But honestly—something shifted in me last night. Last night shook me out of my pity party—grief has no business trying to sit at my table. I laughed until my face hurt. I danced like no one was watching (but everyone definitely was). And I remembered that this girl? The one who was starting to feel small? She’s still here. Loud, messy, joyful—and deeply lucky.
