Monochrome NYC

Uhm, let's go… So, this outfit? Full-on brown, top to bottom and honestly, I’m obsessed. It’s simple, it’s comfy and somehow it still looks like I put in effort, even though I totally didn’t. That’s the magic of monochrome, I guess.

Matching colors just makes life easier. Like, who has time to figure out what goes with what? And okay, while I’m usually all about bold patterns (argyles forever), sometimes keeping it simple with monochrome isn’t so bad either. This brown-on-brown combo is basically my way of saying, "I’m chill but I still know what I’m doing... Sort of." And honestly? It’s perfect for those days when you’re off to class and just want to look like you’ve got it together (even if you’re mostly there to pretend you’re paying attention). It’s not the best outfit ever, buuut it does the job. Plus, it’s stretchy and soft, so I can sit however I want which is a win for lazy days.

Let’s talk about the background though. NYC, skyscrapers, endless views. This city just has a way of making everything feel a little cooler. Sitting here with all those buildings behind me? It’s like the city is its own accessory. Big main-character energy vibes, right?
Also, the beanie. Essential. I swear, throw on a beanie and it’s like an instant upgrade. Add a little necklace for fun and boom! outfit complete. It’s one of those looks you can wear anywhere, coffee runs, rooftop hangs or just staring out the window like I’m in some artsy indie film.

Moral of the story? Monochrome is the move. It’s easy, it’s cute and it’s giving me all the comfy-but-stylish feels.
