Guess who survived a trip with the headphone thief? Aye, ME!

Heather decided it was time to “broaden horizons” and, being the middle lad, I got dragged along. Destination: Rio de Janeiro. What can I say? Hot, loud, and somehow felt like home.

Down the beach, while Heather was busy lookin’ like a local and makin’ mates left, right and centre, I’d already lost me dignity with the first wave that tried to drown us. Spoiler: surfboards are still me natural enemy. But it was worth it... met new faces, heard mad stories, and realised chaos speaks every language. Even mine, which is half hand gestures, half dodgy accent.

Oh, and let’s not forget: Heather didn’t give me my headphones back: she actually wrote her name on them. Like proper branded the poor things. No way I’m wearing them with those dodgy rainbow scribbles all over. Apparently they’re hers now. Imagine the audacity.

Meanwhile, I came back with two new tattoos. Two... And now I want more. Pain? Barely noticed. End result? A beautiful disaster scribbled on skin.

Carioca summary: headphones stolen and renamed, sand in places I didn’t know existed, new tattoos, new mates, and the firm belief that if life were just beaches, sun, and half-planned chaos, I might actually be a morning person. Since it’s not, I’ll stick with the tattoos and the memories.

Next stop? Buenos Aires... or Madrid - who cares? Chaos doesn’t keep an itinerary.
