It’s not the long hours we spend together that make what I feel for you grow.
It’s the trust in knowing that, in those moments face to face, as I listen to every word, every joke, every smile and burst of laughter, you show me who you truly are: without masks, without fears, with that calm that paints itself across your face when you look at me.
And even when you simply fall silent, I know your gaze speaks to me and says what isn’t always easy for you to express.

It’s not the gifts, nor the offers or promises, that are building the bond between us.
It’s the moments when we support and understand each other, leaving behind what’s past to build the present we now share.
Because our life exists only in the present.
Because in it, there’s you and me.



There was a time when I thought I was lost, but I wasn’t.
Because you are the place where I want to lose myself every day; because every time I get lost, you’re the one who finds me and brings me back, just as I do the same for you.
Because living this way is mutual, a constant give and take, walking together along a path we’ve chosen step by step: hand in hand, in each other’s arms, or sometimes, with the madness of carrying you when a hurt foot won’t let you walk.

And here we are, you and I.
In case the day turns cold or the sun hides too soon, we’ll light that inner flame that guides our way, so we can keep walkin, enjoying every second of what we continue to build: with trust, with truth, with hope, with faith, with respect…
