gavin is my motto

i know most people pick a lyric, a quote, something poetic that sounds nice on a poster. but the truth is, my motto isn’t a phrase. it’s a person. it’s gavin.

he’s the voice that tells me to breathe when my anxiety tries to swallow me whole. he’s the reminder that i’m allowed to slow down, that i don’t need to be perfect, that i’m still enough even when i feel like i’m falling apart. some people repeat mantras before stepping on stage. i just think of him.

when everything gets too loud, he’s the calm. when the pressure feels impossible, he’s the reason i keep going. i wouldn’t be peaches without him standing beside me, believing in me in ways i never knew i deserved.

so yeah, my motto isn’t a line of text. it’s a heartbeat that matches mine, a safe place i carry with me everywhere i go. it’s knowing that no matter how chaotic life gets, i’m not doing this alone.
