I don’t know how many days it’s been; I’ve been drifting from place to place with the waves across the seven seas.
Every morning, I call Blair to tell her how much I miss her and to ask how our child is doing.
She always says, “Everything is fine, finish your work and come back as soon as you can!” with a hint of reproach.
She’s right; being apart for this long is something I never wanted.
On the day we were supposed to find out our baby’s gender, I wasn’t there with them. When Blair told me she wouldn’t find out our baby’s gender without me, it made me smile.
I’m so grateful to have such a partner someone who stands by me and supports me no matter what.
I love you both so much, and I’m counting the days until I can be with you!
Oh, by the way, after our little co-captain comes into the world, we’ll have to make another one, because here a single little co-captain just won’t do :p
