There are days that feel like a crack running through the middle of our routine. We live, we plan, we rush, until something happens that reminds us: nothing is guaranteed.
Not our safety.
Not this world.
Not the people we love.
Yesterday was one of those days.
A day that makes the ground feel a little less steady. A day that whispers how fragile everything truly is. How quickly life can shift. How loud the world can become, and how small we suddenly feel inside it.
And in moments like that, our thoughts begin to wander. Not in panic, just deeper.We realize how precious time is, and how easily we forget to truly live it. We postpone, we assume, we say “There’s always tomorrow.” But what if there isn’t?
Days like this pull us back to what matters most:
the people we love, the time we still have, the gratitude we often overlook.
They soften us.
They sharpen our perspective.
They wake us up.
Yesterday reminded me of something simple but powerful:
Life is happening right now.
And the people who matter deserve to feel our love today,not someday. Maybe we should remind ourselves more often.
But sometimes one heavy, shaking day is enough to make us see how incredibly precious everything still is.
