Marriage

Marriage definitely suits me. Ollie and the kids, the news of her pregnancy, the trip to Melbourne, watching the twins as they began their surf journey. All of it was just heavenly. I’ve never been so chilled in all my days

That said, there are, or at least were, a couple of things that are troubling me. The first is children. Ollie being pregnant with our child, brought home to me the loss of my son. The pain has always been there, hidden and controlled, but there nonetheless. How different is it going to be actually having our child? I need to speak to Ollie about this – but in private if you don’t mind

Those feelings coupled with the trip down under completely threw me. I’ve always struggled with time change and this was the ultimate – in amongst the joy of married life, I somehow managed to miss Valentine’s Day. What the actual …!

I could easily put it down to age, but here’s the thing … since getting married, I kinda feel younger, different – in a good way. Let’s face it, anybody around Ollie is always going to feel more invigorated and younger anyway - her exuberance is clearly rubbing off on me on so many positive ways

My conclusion is that Marriage is wonderful, our Marriage is wonderful, and the changes it is bringing to me and my life are clearly all for the better, and not just for me, but also for Ollie, the kids, our family. I need to now go and spoil my wife and let her know she is simply GSG – but hey, we all knew that already!
