#Almost Right, Always Late

Chae-rin always found the right people at the wrong time. Life was impatient with her; every beautiful thing seemed to come a moment too late, and every hope faded a little too soon. Whenever she started to love someone, that person was already preparing to leave. Whenever she decided to stay, no one was there waiting anymore. No matter how hard she tried, fate never walked in the same rhythm — the moment someone reached out to her, distance, silence, or words left unspoken would slip in between.

Sometimes she felt she had met the right person, just not at the right time. In another life, another city, maybe as another version of herself, everything could have been easier. But the real world wasn’t that kind. She was like a traveler who got off at the wrong stop — always a step ahead or a step behind. Maybe the problem wasn’t that she couldn’t find the right person, but that she still hadn’t found the right place to belong.

And yet, somewhere deep down, she believed that one day, time itself would finally wait for her.
