Lonely Notes in a Noisy World
There’s a melody that keeps playing in my mind whenever I look at the world around me. It’s unresolved, dissonant—like a tune that never quite finds its ending. I’m talking about relationships, real connections, that rare spark that seems harder and harder to come by these days.
I’m a bass player. I live for the notes, the breaths, and those moments when music speaks louder than words ever could. But offstage, when the lights dim and I set my bass guitar aside, I can’t help but wonder: where are those genuine connections? The ones that don’t rely on filters or games but simply exist, raw and unguarded, like a heartfelt melody.
People often say we’re all too busy, too distracted—and maybe that’s true. But if that’s the case, doesn’t it make finding something real even more important?
That’s why I’m writing this. Not to complain, but to change the tempo.
