Hola, mi amigos! Johnny freakin Storm here, Drummer of the worlds greatest rock band, breaker of hearts, liver abuser and now Mexicos newest problem.
I touched down in Mexico City like a rock and rolll conquistador, cluthing nothing but my drumsticks, my stunning wife Janessa, 5 pairs of sunglasses and a grin that will make our female fans melt.
The customs officer asked what i had to declare... So i declared myself, the greatest thing to happen to this country since tacos, he didnt laugh.
My first impression... The sun doesnt mess around here, its like god himself directly aimed a spotlight at me and said, go forth my sweaty little rock god.
First stop, natrually, was a tequilla bar, I ordered one shot, next thing i know im 8 margaritas deep, leading a mariachi band in a latin rendition of Hot Snuff.
The food, i tried chilli so spicy it nearly deleted my soul, the locals said it was mild, if thats mild then i think these guys abuelas were trying to kill them.
Tourist tip- do not ride a rented scooter after the tequilla here, especially not with a sombrero the size of a satellite dish, you will either achieve lift off or instant death. Both sound pretty rock and roll though.
Anyway Mexico, you have been warned, im here, im loud and im just getting started. Next stop, Jail.
