Run. Swing. Pop.

The popolympics are coming to Rome. Are you ready? I'm excited to see the world come together this year and show what they can do. My family will be playing for Team Rio if you want to root for us.

As a classically trained dancer and master of pretty much every form of dance, of course I decided to not compete in the dancing event. I gotta keep everyone on their toes. Or maybe my reputation just can't suffer a loss in dancing?

Instead, I decided to channel my inner Zendaya and learn to play tennis during an insane two weeks of hamstring busting training on the courts around the world. Trust me, I am feeling the burn.

But I also learned something beautiful as I watched the movie Challengers. It's as you hit the ball back and forth with your opponent. You get into that rhythm. Run. Swing. Pop. Run. Swing. Pop. Everything disappears. It's just me and my opponent hitting the ball back and forth. We've gone to some place beautiful together. We're giving each other everything we have. With each swing, the moment builds. We almost don't want it to end. Almost. We're just waiting for someone to make that first move. Who will it be?
