"i know you're going to say no, but have you ever thought about decorating a cake with me?" finn asked leo lazily as he leaned down over the back of the couch and rested his chin on the top of his husband's head. "i mean, i know that sculpting will always be your thing, but you could probably make a pretty cool-looking cake with me sometime."
horror and halloween cakes were definitely a thing.
finn knew that his husband channeled a lot of his darker emotions into his work, so he thought that maybe it would be interesting to take one of those cake decorating classes - just for fun. he already had a lot of experiencing in baking and decorating cakes, but he had never really got into doing a whole lot of sculpting with fondant and stuff like that.
"i thought we could maybe take a class in our free time? i can't sculpt worth shit and you don't really make cakes - maybe we could make a good team. just for fun?" he murmured, pressing his face into leo's hair now and making himself sound a little whiny with the hope that leo would say yes.
"just think about it. it could be fun."
he would take every opportunity he could to do something a little silly with his husband. and besides, at least they had mika and rosie who were both willing to babysit lilith.
