The moment had finally arrived. Ari had finally arrived to the point of his studies in aviation academy when it was time to say good-bye to the long lessons inside of the classroom and not giving any chance to the aviation simulator. He was ready to actually get into the plane. And fly it.
- “Are you nervous?” His co-pilot asked him while adjusting himself comfortable on his seat and ready to start the engine of the massive plane.
“Maybe I am supposed to be but I am not. I have been dreaming about this ever since highschool and I have been studying hard… like damn f-cking hard.” Ari laughed.
It wasn't like frightening or anything. The academy had the best students and best team of instructors. He wasn't scared nor feeling his heart trying to race out of his chest. He was fine. Feeling alive.
“This is pilot Harrington speaking from Airbus 324, I repeat Airbus 324. We are asking for a permission for a takeoff. Over.”
Ari's voice wasn't trembling. It was clear, soft and incredibly calm. He knew what he was doing, although it was his first time flying a freaking enormous plane. After pressing different kind of buttons he first knew nothing about until the end of the first year of academy, Ari realised he wasn't dreaming-
he was living his dream.
