Dearest Ammo,

sorry I just vanished like that. I know it's been months and you probably thought the worst, probably pictured me floating face-down somewhere or bleeding out in a bathtub like the dramatic bitch I always was. Sorry for that too. I'm okay now. Better than okay, actually. The doctors here are nice, the food is edible, and the pills make the screaming in my head almost finally stopped. It's almost peaceful.

Gun knew everything, obviously. Don't be mad at her. Yea, she's the one who drove me to this shithole in Berlin and practically skipped through the doors when they took me in, because she finally got the golden ticket to lock me up. She kept smiling while they strapped me down, told them I was a danger to myself like she'd planned to do this for years. Whatever. I'm not mad. I would've done the same if I ever got the chance to get rid of me too.

They pumped me full of drugs, and I can't even spell my own name some days, but the fog is lifting a little, enough to hold a pen without wanting to jam it in my neck. I told them no visitors, no calls, nothing. Didn't want anyone seeing me like that, especially you.

If anyone asks where I went, tell them I'm sorry for disappearing and send them my love or whatever. I owe a lot of people apologies. I'll fix what I broke when I get out. They say a couple more weeks, maybe less.
