Dad keeps saying we should eat veggies and fruits 🤦♀️ so to give him some peace of mind, our lovely Otelo slipped some vitaminic stuff into our birthday cocktails. Is that OK enough with you Dad?
Special recipes by your godson Chef Otelo, yup. I remember my niece used to prepare these but Otelo took over for the last years as he's ruling a 10-Michelin-star restaurant chain. Premium Aegean cuisine, to be more exact. With rakı and ouzo 🥛🥛 - OG liquors we're switching to, once Dad's asleep (*giggles*)
Like he said, Otelo Jr. and I grew up mostly together, surrounded by our siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews... you name it. Indeed, our family multi-pluri-generational trees are huuuuge. As we became lame-ass adults, we kinda went in different directions, Otelo busy in his Soul Kitchen and I in our band with the most solar Alexei. Such a big world for so few daily hours... but not always being in the same place does not mean that hearts fall apart. There's no geographical distance, busy schedule, temporary storm and tempest able to break true friendship and siblinghood.
Most people brush past our lives with a short-term mission, a lesson to teach, or simply for an insignificant nothing lol (and bye please 👋).
Others - a minority - are and will always be there to fulfill your existence with meaning and renewed belief in the beauty of lasting relationships, those in which you’re loved for what you are and nothing else. Just like you, Otelo. 🙏
