I turn 18 today, and it’s also Christmas, two reasons to celebrate. For my birthday this year, I wanted to do something for myself, something I’ve been dreamed of for a long time: a solo trip and a master class with one of the best makeup artists in the world, in Paris. It’s a step toward the life I want to create, that's for sure. I want to fight for that.
Sometimes, I miss how magical birthdays felt when I was little, when they were filled with fantasy and wonder, like Christmas itself. Feeling special, like a princess with a crown. But growing up isn’t always easy, and part of me misses the simplicity of those days. Being with dad, mum, and Tristan. With my Kobemother Nelly.
Here’s to a new chapter, though. Happy birthday, little Jade, who is waiting to be someone big in life. To be in the best company ever, my boys.
