Sometimes, the only rule worth breaking is the one that says
slow downTonight, I’m not just pushing past speed limits. I'm crossing invisible lines, the ones you don’t see but feel inside. Streetlights blur into neon streaks as I throttle through the city, the engine roaring like a beast that refuses to be caged.
Is there a speed limit for the heart? I don't know.
All I know is, if everyone else looks so happy, why does it feel like there’s a storm in my chest?
Maybe that's why I ride.
Not to escape. Not to arrive.
Just to feel to burn through the silence, to let the asphalt steal my doubts for a while.
