Two steps forward and three steps back
If we only loved what’s good, no one would be miserable. But good? Bad? Who the hell can tell? Open a book from the middle and you’ll miss the fire. Don’t dive into the middle not love, not pain, not a damn thing.
Everything you start halfway hits hard. Music too. You can write killer words, rip the guitar like a beast, and still you’re running from demons you didn’t even know existed. You run. You crash. You live. You die. And in between, you’re always chasing something unnamed, something that eats you alive. Until one day, all that half-finished fire goes cold.
You learn not to feel. The things that once made your blood boil? Now they’re icy, dumb, meaningless. When you stop giving a damn, when you go numb, you understand.
Be ruthless. Let the world burn. Feeling too much is death. Running from it? That’s survival.
