Baby on Board: Tour Edition💕
So… here’s the thing. Whoever said pregnancy slows you down clearly hasn’t met us. Mom and I are both in our third trimesters. Yep, two giant baby bumps on stage, still trying to pretend we’re wild and unstoppable. Spoiler alert: we mostly waddle dramatically now instead of strut. 😅
We’re currently on tour, and honestly, I think the audience is half afraid we’re going to go into labor mid-song. Mom keeps saying, “If one of us’s water breaks during the bridge, we’re finishing the song first.” Priorities, right?
Between the soundchecks, the cravings, all those bathroom breaks, and yes… the couple of concerts we had to miss (blame it on the pregnancy 😅), it’s basically chaos… but the sweetest kind. Sometimes I look at us and laugh...two glowing (okay, maybe sweaty) women, one carrying a baby girl, the other a baby boy, trying to rock out while our babies dance inside us like they own the place. We like to joke that our next band members are already rehearsing from the inside. Every time the crowd claps, they start kicking in perfect rhythm. Future stars, I’m telling you.
Our band motto right now? “If the bass doesn’t break our water, nothing will.” 😂
But honestly… I wouldn’t trade this for anything. We’ve got our little duet inside our duet, and every kick reminds me that the best encore of this tour is yet to come. 💕
