Studio Lights & Lavender Dreams

Starting life at Lavender Academy felt overwhelming—new classes, new faces, the constant rush of Tokyo. Noor noticed I was running on fumes and came up with something different: a studio photoshoot. Not just another selfie, but a chance to pause and capture the moment.

The studio was tucked into a Shibuya side street, soft lights glowing across endless backdrops. I decided to try a bolder makeup look than usual, something that made me feel like a version of myself I hadn’t met before. When I caught Noor watching me from the corner, his eyes warm and steady, I almost forgot there was a camera waiting.

At first, I was nervous—wondering if I was posing right, if my smile looked forced. Then Noor whispered something ridiculous that made me laugh, and that laugh turned into my favorite shot of the day. After that, it didn’t feel like posing anymore. Just me, caught in little sparks of joy.

Some friends joined in, filling the studio with laughter. The photos became less about looking perfect and more about remembering this season of our lives—our start in Tokyo, the beginning of something bigger.

When it ended, I thought we were done. But Noor leaned close, mischief in his voice, and asked for a few extra shots just for him. Away from the bright lights, it was just us—more daring, more playful. Those spicy photos will never be seen by anyone else, but maybe that’s the best part. They belong to us alone.
