Porto Before London

The feeling of hands growing clammy and shaky was not unfamiliar to me. It was a sensation that always crept up on me before a show, a sign that my nerves were getting the best of me. But this time, it was different. The drumming of my heart against my chest was almost deafening, as though my very heart wished to escape from my body. All I could feel was my anxiousness growing, leaving me on edge and unsure of what was to come. As soon as the plane touched down, I hastily dodged through the crowded airport with my trusty number two by my side.We were on tour, once again, traveling around the world to perform for our fans. But no matter how many times we did it, the feeling never seemed to go away. I met up with the other bands and groupies who had arrived a bit earlier, and we quickly made our way to the hotel. The familiar faces of my friends calmed my nerves, and as we checked into our rooms, I couldn't help but feel relieved ready to have a hotel party. Amidst the chaos of unpacking and settling in, we were surprised to find that the hotel was more like a cozy home.The kitchen was made of warm wood, and the floors were adorned with beautiful floral tiles. With three bedrooms and a large lounge room, it was the perfect setting for a party. One of my friends put on our favorite song , and we danced and laughed, enjoying our time together.

But as always, time passed too quickly, and it was time to get to work. The group rushed to get me dolled up and ready for the show. As I looked into the mirror, amazed by their handiwork, I quickly pulled out my phone to send a text to one of my bandmates who was already at the venue as we headed out.
