OnlyHams: Where my heart calls home

People talk about home like it’s a place. Four walls, a front door, maybe a porch swing if they’re lucky. But for me, home has never been about geography. It’s about my brothers.

Zeke’s the one who’ll throw down without blinking. Protective to the bone, loud when it counts, and never afraid to make a scene if someone comes for me. He’s the storm I know will always blow in on my side.

Ezra’s the quiet. The calm. He doesn’t need to say much—he just shows up. He’s the one who watches, listens, and somehow always knows exactly what I need before I say a word. His silence is never empty; it’s steady, grounding, safe.

Between the two of them, I’ve never had to wonder if I’m loved. Never had to question if someone’s got me. Because they do. Always.

Wherever my brothers are, that’s where my heart calls home. Not because they’re perfect, but because they’re mine. Because no one will ever have my back like they do. And in a world that’s constantly shifting, that kind of loyalty is everything.

So yeah, I’ve stood in beautiful places. I’ve felt moments that almost felt like belonging. But nothing compares to being between Zeke’s fire and Ezra’s quiet. That’s where I’m known. That’s where I’m safe. That’s home.
