Shock. Panic. Love. Calmness.
A couple of weeks ago, I received the shock of my life. I entered my hotel room and found a document from my doctor’s office following my regular check-up. It was these words that sent me into complete shock: “You are in your first trimester.”
And then, panic hit. I flipped through the pages of my diary, frantically searching for the day I missed. And there it was... Completely marked, yet unnoticed and forgotten.
This was totally unplanned. I had been so focused on my shows, building my musical career, spending time with Abe and Dante, and carving out some time for myself. So, the panic hit hard. Really hard.
But then, you stepped in. My anchor of logic. In just a few minutes, you managed to calm the storm that was raging inside me. Yes, this was unexpected for both of us, but you reminded me of how happy Dante will be to have a sibling to grow up with and how we can handle anything together.
Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my calm in the storm. Thank you, love. 💖
I've already felt so grateful to be the mother of our little Dante, who is growing up so fast. I just know he is going to be the best big brother. 💖 (And maybe this life on the road (or sky) will become more fun for him).
And to our little one: you will always be surrounded by endless love, joy, and care from all of us. You are our beautiful blessing. 💕
