dubrovnik stole my heart (and maybe my plus-one)

First full day in Dubrovnik, and I’m already considering sending for the rest of my things and just staying forever. It’s too good — cobblestone streets that feel straight out of a fairy tale, the sea shining like someone’s sprinkled diamonds on it, and the sun? Ridiculous. London could never.
Spent most of the day wandering, getting lost on purpose, stopping for an espresso in a little sun-drenched square where an old man played the violin. Obviously had to take way too many pictures (see below, I’m insufferable), but can you blame me?
Obviously, I had to do all the essentials — got lost in the Old Town (on purpose), ate far too much seafood, and sat on a terrace with an Aperol, watching the world go by. Dreamy. And before you ask, yes, I had very, very good company. Someone who rolls their eyes when I stop every two minutes for a photo, but somehow still ends up in most of them. Mysterious, isn’t it?
More tomorrow, if I don’t run away and become a mysterious woman who lives by the sea forever.
