001-003 Cashless in Melbourne

001: Day 19, Year 147 (8/6/2025)
Arrived in Melbourne after all that and have a place to crash. Found a temp agency online using the old school PC and free wifi here and going to work as a sales assistant. Not getting paid until D24, but bed and food and Wifi sorted = good. Job looks a bit sketchy AF, though. They just sell books and chemicals, but at least I don’t need to a suit or stockings or something? F*** that piece of sh** that stole my stuff.


002: Day 20, Year 147 (9/6/2025)
Sooooo I was going to be *patient*, you know? I could get by at the Kangaroo and Wombat house. But there are things that are just nice to have, yeah? More than one pair of underwear. Thus, I resorted to… wait for it… busking. I used to be able to sing once. Maybe I still can, because people did give me some cash for it. though the jury’s out on whether it was because of my singing or because they felt sorry for me. Maybe a bit of both?

Anyway, I went shopping. It’s weirdly hard to find bras that are NOT made of latex in Melbourne, but I got there eventually.


003: Day 24, Year 147 (13/6/2025)
PAID I HAVE BEEN PAID YES. WOO!

I’ve booked a flight to Stockholm, what with the whole monument thing coming up. Maybe I’ll stay there for the next bit, see what fruit’s in season. If not, European cities being what they are, it’s just another quick flight to London (but that might hurt my wallet a bit more than I’d like). I did hear there’s a party there. Something to ponder during the seven hours in the air, I guess.
