The real Ash's first steps | #LasEastham

Ashley had run away from home several months ago. They never accepted who she was, how she felt, or what she needed. A rigid, traditional family—where the only child life had given them… was born with a soul that didn’t belong to that body. There were no words to explain it, no tears, no embraces. One day, Ashley walked through a door and never looked back. From that moment on, she was herself—for the very first time.

-WHAT?- she gasped one day over the phone. On the other end, a woman was inviting her to travel to Rio de Janeiro. A wealthy family wanted to sponsor her content and… suddenly, Ashley was a model. Now she could buy all that pretty makeup she had longed for in magazines—so secretly that even now, she felt a shy flutter seeing herself in gloss, mascara, or eyeliner.

She returned to London. She felt new, and more authentic than ever. She had signed a contract. She had received support and acceptance—for the first time in her life.

Ashley was taking her first steps.
