When Erica got the invitation to Mickey’s uncle’s single-release party, she didn’t expect much more than a fun night out. Then she saw the name of the party. A small smile tugged at her lips, and she had a suspicion that the single might be dedicated to her.

Entering the club and being enveloped in hugs from Mickey’s relatives, she was immediately feeling like part of the family. Then she saw the single cover. She stood there speechless, the biggest smile on her face. It was the most amazing thing anyone had ever done for her. And it seemed like everything around her went quiet. Only it didn’t just seem that way. It actually did.

She turned around and gasped in shock. Mickey was on one knee in front of her. He began a speech that turned Erica into a crying, smiling mess – speaking about how she was all he thought about, how he understood her and saw all of her. She melted completely.

She looked at this man – this perfect, perfect man – who always made her feel like a goddess, so admired, cared for, and loved. He was her dream man. She had never believed the kind of love you see in movies really existed. Now she knew: an even stronger love existed, and they had it. They had each other, they supported and uplifted each other. And if the world were coming to an end, the only place she’d want to be was in his embrace.

She dropped to her knees and yelled "yes", kissing him and feeling Mickey slip the ring onto her finger. Then he handed her a box: what she saw inside made her burst out laughing. Only her man would think of something like this.
