Black & White
Here comes the spring, again.
Beautiful daisies, perfect scents and sunny weather.
A.k.a. the wedding season.
She was at two weddings that meant the world for her; one was her daughter's, the other, her dearest friend's.
As Alayna made her remember how to shine, she came up with two beautiful dresses from a long day of shopping.
The white dress she wore to her daughter’s wedding felt like a flower. White.. that soft, innocent color, of new beginnings & hope. Blair, as she stood there watching her daughter stepping into her new life, couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the tears (no, not cry).

The white dress seemed like the perfect match, as Blair was also the priest who had given them the blessing. Yeah, a priest looking like a damn model (which is also true) and -off the record- a criminal. Not to mention her surname, ha ha.
Then there was the black dress worn to her bff’s wedding. That, was absolutely another experience. Black as a color is mostly seen as for more serious, mourning occasions. However to Blair, this dress was honoring all the sharing and dockage of their friendship.
A black swan with a little heart on her right shoulder, the black dress felt so noble. Blair loves wearing black.
She was quite unlucky about having a long lasting marriage but she knew they would have that. That would make her happy for them, at the very least.
She realized that the colors we wear to weddings are more than just choices of fabric as they represent the different kinds of love we hold dear:
the innocent & the tested,
the light & the strong,
the promises & the truths.
