DARKLIN
This morning, while trying to steal two quiet minutes with my coffee, I caught my reflection in the hallway mirror. Those accidental glances that remind you you’re in the middle of creating something bigger than you’ve admitted out loud..
Avery was busy turning the living room into a mini hell but somehow in the middle of that familiar noise, my mind kept drifting back to the sketches waiting on my desk. The ones I haven’t shown anyone except Val.
DARKLIN has been emerging quietly in the background of my days.
In the margins of notebooks, in the corners of late nights, in the moments when the world forgets to ask anything from me.
It started with a simple idea:
What happens when a shoe isn’t designed to look perfect, but to feel yours?
I don’t want to make pretty shoes.
I want to make pieces that carry intention.
Pieces that can be counted as horcruxes.
Pieces that feel like they know a secret you’re not ready to tell.
There’s a tension I love, between elegance and shadow, between structure and softness, between the part of you the world sees and the part you only show in the dark. That tension is woven into every pair I’m preparing for the launch.
I’ve kept most details under wraps, maybe because I enjoy the slow burn of anticipation. Maybe because it still feels like mine just for a little while longer. But the closer we get to the day, the more I feel that vibration under my skin.
DARKLIN isn’t here yet.
But don't worry, it’s coming soon.
For now, all I’ll say is this:
