✨ Sometimes, the sky says it all for me....
She didn’t plan for the night to feel this magical.
There she was, wrapped in her coat, standing among strangers and dear friends, but somehow, it felt like the sky knew her.
Each burst of light above wasn’t just fireworks.
They were her memories from the year.
Her silent thoughts.
The things she couldn’t say.
The feelings she’d been pressing down, pretending they didn’t matter, when really, they did. Deeply.
Lately, she’d been releasing singles that speak straight from her heart…
Back and forth to NYC, the city that somehow feels like home now.
She buried heartache under neon signs and cold winds and kept moving.
The things she had picked out.
Unopened. Untouched.
Because she was thinking too much.
And now, the sky exploded for her.
Golden sparks for the smiles she hid.
Violet flashes for the nights she cried quietly.
Green bursts for the moments she was braver than she knew.
And silver for the things she still keeps secret, soft and tucked away.
Somewhere between the sparkle and the smoke, she let go of something heavy.
And at the end of the end of the year…
she could breathe.
Maybe not all the way.
Maybe temporary.
