it's been a long time coming

going back to meeting rooms with blazers and color-coded agendas. breath-stealing rehearsals. the same studio walls, smelling like old coffee, with out-of-tune guitars waiting to be played. funny how it all feels familiar — and at the same time, awkward, like it happened to someone else.

sometimes i forget i’ve already released three albums. three. i carried them in my body like secret diaries, and still i’d ask myself, ''am i really a professional artist?''

because, honestly, for the longest time, being ''professional'' seemed to mean smiling at the right time, dropping music like a conveyor belt, and competing for attention in an industry that sells sparkle instead of soul. but i was never built for that.

i'm the girl with callused fingers from the guitar and a head full of messy feelings that only make sense once they turn into a song. never been good at forcing what isn’t mine.

it was in tokyo, away from stages and tabloids, between electric chaos of neon signs blinking outside my hotel window and quiet train rides, i wrote the first song of my new album — my rebirth. my debut in the pop field. honest. raw. real.

with it comes ''the awkward world tour'' — celebrating the beautifully imperfect moments that make us human. it’s going to be big. it’s going to be beautiful. this time feels different. i want to release more, commit, and make it count. because maybe, deep down, that’s what i’ve been waiting for all along.
